Amazon Kindle Fire Update to 6.2.2 Brings Full-screen Browsing

Amazon has another update headed out to their popular Kindle Fire tablet/e-reader. The new software brings the firmware up to version 6.2.2 and doesn’t provide too many surface-level changes. The biggest noticable addition is a toggle for switching the device’s Silk browser to full-screen mode. Amazon has not made the full changelog available at this time.

As with previous updates to the Kindle Fire, the new software will break previous root methods. If history is any indication, a workaround should follow quickly.
