Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia T2 Ultra Dual, the phablets from Sony which released earlier this year with Android 4.3 Jellybean now finally has received the Android 4.4.2 update. The update is available over the air now and you can update to Kitkat 4.4.2 if you own any of the above mentioned tablets.
The Android 4.4.2 update brings with it improved performance and a revamped UI. Sony has added its tweaks to all the custom software and some inspiration has been taken from PlayStation 4 while designing the boot animation and live wallpapers on the Xperia T2 Ultra and its dual-SIM capable brother.
Functions like Messaging, Walkman music player, Album gallery, Movie player and Smart Social camera have received their latest version updates. The update also makes the T2 Ultra compatible with Sony’s Smartband.
If you own any of the above two mentioned tables, you better update them to Android 4.4.2 but in case you don’t there’s no need to worry. Sony Xperia E1 and Xperia M2 owners can sure expect an update soon and other devices are scheduled to follow soon.
