Apple Dropped Built-In YouTube For iOS 6

apple dropped built-in youtube for ios 6

Apple going to ditch Google and its services from its latest iOS 6. Earlier Apple removed Google Maps and now YouTube for iOS 6 is dropped from iOS 6 as built in App. YouTube was one of the original iPhone’s main features, pushing Google to re-encode the entirety of the popular video hosting service’s library so that it could work without Adobe’s Flash. Apple responded app removal as:

Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.

Apple will eventually replace Google’s iOS tools completely. Google will continue on with Android. But now Youtube interferes in between and said

We are working with Apple to make sure we have the best possible YouTube experience for iOS users.

So guys if you still want to use the app than you can get it by searching in Apple’s App store. Now Smartphone buyers will ultimately make a choice. Either Google integration matters or it doesn’t.
