Archos FamilyPad 2 Tablet Announced For €299

Archos has unveiled or announced FamilyPad Tablet 2 in Europe for €299. Archos has already bunch of tablets in its basket like Gamepad and 101 XS. Today they have added another offering to its basket.

Spec wise FamilyPad 2 Tablet consists a 13.3″ 1280 x 800 screen, tab’s powerhouse is attached with a dual-core Cortex-A9 processor with quad-core. In order to increase graphical performance company has added quad-core Mali 400 GPU also. It is provided with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. You can even expand it external storage with microSD card.

From its display size some critics are saying that its a portable TV than a tablet. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Archos Family Pad 2 comes with dual 2 MP cameras and Wi-Fi connectivity. The device measures 337 x 230 x 11.6mm and weighs a hefty 2.86 pounds.
