CyanogenMod 9 Stable Available For Galaxy Nexus

cyanogenmod 9 stable available for galaxy nexus

CyanogenMod 9 Stable version for Galaxy Nexus is now available for download. The build, designed for the “maguro” GSM version of the device, provides a largely stock Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich experience, while adding features such as lock screen gestures, themes, and a DSP equalizer.

While the Galaxy Nexus is the first device to get official support for CM9, there are nightly releases available for dozens of additional phones and tablets. Many of these will likely be updated to CM9 soon.

Android 4.1.1 is the next target in the eyes of the CyanogenMod team, with the eventual release of CM10. Due to massive amount of code from 2.3 to 4.0m, it has taken the team much longer then ever before to catch up to Google.

Get CM9 Stable here.
