Facebook Messenger Now Accessible Via Messenger.com

Facebook has made available Facebook messenger directly on Messenger.com. Now, users can chat on the web without logging into the Facebook Account.

Facebook has made it a standalone service that is directly accessible without Facebook.com on the web. You not need to panic if you want to use the messenger through main site, it will be accessible via the main site also. Messenger.com has been meant for one purpose only and that is the messaging only.

The company tells me the “dedicated desktop messaging experience” is “meant to be complimentary to the Messenger mobile app”.

Is this the step towards the integration of Whatsapp with the Facebook?
