Google is acquiring every firm they need of to promote their products. Google today announced to acquire Frommer’s Travel Guide Business to provide travel guide over 4,300 destinations worldwide and for Zagat according to WSJ. Surely this will boost up Google Maps and other navigation related Google Products. Earlier also Google acquired various firms to betterise their products. Google spokesperson has confirmed.

“The Frommer’s team and the quality and scope of their content will be a great addition to the Zagat team, We can’t wait to start working with them on our goal to provide a review for every relevant place in the world.”

Earlier, Google announced that it was cutting 20% of the workforce at mobile phone maker Motorola, which it took over last year.
