Google Working To Bring New Messaging Service To Rival Messenger, Whatsapp, Etc

In a report via Wall Street Journal, Google is working on a new messaging service which will allow users to send messages and share your stuff with your friends as like of the Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger and many other apps available.

Currently, Google have Hangouts for these kind of purposes but it seems as like us Google itself is also not satisfied with Hangouts. As per the report it is expected that Google is going to integrate it with its artificial intelligence (AI) and chatbot technology into it.

It seems that interaction with the Artificial Intelligence will make it different from many other apps that are available right now.

The concept make it similar to the AIM’s smartchildbot which gave answers to your queries. Well, that is quite limited, but we expect that Google may integrate whole lot of Google Now features with it. So you could turn off WiFI, search about your queries, do any random stuff easily from your messaging app. There are lot of possibilities that can act as features in the smart Google messaging app.

Here’s what Wall street Quoted:

For its new service, Google, a unit of Alphabet Inc., plans to integrate chatbots, software programs that answer questions inside a messaging app, the people familiar with the matter said. Users will be able to text friends or a chatbot, which will scour the Web and other sources for information to answer a question, those people said.

So we expect it as a new product which Google is building next. Currently there’s no time frame given about the launching of the service. We expect more updates on this in some upcoming days.
