HTC has announced another entry level device, Desire 500 in Taiwan. It shares design aspects of HTC One S from the front end and will retail without BoomSound feature. Phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It has 1GB RAM.
The Desire 500 packs a 4.3-inch WVGA (800×480) display, with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage, expandable via microSD upto 64 GB. There’s 8-megapixel camera bolted on the backside of the phone and a 1.6-megapixel snapper on the front. It can record video at 720p, while the 1,800mAh battery allows for up to 17.8 hours of talktime on 3G, 401 hours of standby.
Its capable of Dual SIM compatibility along with the Android Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5 and BlinkFeed UI on board.
You can buy HTC Desire 500 for NT$11,900 and will be launched exclusively through Taiwan Mobile on August 1.
