HTC Desire 816G , the new updated version of HTC Desire 816 is now available in India. Compared to its previous version which was clocked at 1.4GHz, this updated version has processor of upto 1.7 GHz.
It comes with 5.5 inch display with resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Its powerhouse is comprised of 1.7 GHz octa core processor which is coupled with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory which is expandable upto 32 GB. HTC Desire 816G is featured with 13 MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Rear camera comes with BSI sensor and a flash light. Smartphone has battery power of 2600 mAH which is capable of providing talk time of upto 10 hours on 3G and 460 hours of standby otherwise.
Other features of the smartphone includes its 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, 3.5mm jack, and GPS/ A-GPS, accelerometer, proximity sensor, digital compass, and ambient light sensor.
HTC Desire 816G runs on Android KitKat weighing 158 grams and measures 156.5×78.7×7.9mm. All other features of the smartphone is same as of its variant HTC Desire 816. Device is slightly pricey than its old variant which was prices at Rs. 18,990. Company stated that new offerings under the HTC Desire is their next step towards a packed combination of beautiful design and flagship performance all backed by powerful 1.7 GHz octa-core processor.
