Honor 8 Arrives in the US for $400, Packs 4GB RAM and More

Huawei has finally launched its Huawei 8 in the US and they are branding it as company’s first flagship device in the country. Huawei is comprised of many high end features, especially, its specifically 12MP dual camera system.

Huawei 8 is comprised of a 5.2-inch 1080p display and the 12MP dual camera system. Other specs include, the phone is powered by Kirin 950 SoC and sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display. It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal memory options, and packs in a 3,000mAh battery. In terms of camera, the device features a dual-12 MP camera setup on the back and an 8MP front shooter.

The phone features a 2.5 D glass along with 12 MP dual cameras. The dual camera would help increase the depth and color of the image, there’s one regular sensor and one monochrome sensor.

Further, in software, there’s EMUI 4.1 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow in its backyard. It also have Huawei P9’s feature, “Knuckle Sense,” a way to take screenshots, record video, and draw gestures with your knuckles.

Honor is also including something called Honor’s PROMISE. It is a free one-time screen or rear glass repair that stacks on top of the one-year warranty.

It measures 145.5 x 71.0 x 7.45mm and weighs at 153g. As for price, the handset carries a $399 tag for the 32GB model and $449.99 for the 64GB one.
