Jelly Bean Update For Sony Xperia Lineup Kicking Off This Week

Sony has now officially confirmed and has outed details of Android 4.1 Jelly bean update to its Xperia lineup. Couple of days ago as according to tweet by Sony Mobile hinted the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean rollout for Xperia lineup (those devices which launched in 2012).

Sony is saying that this update will brings new version of Android on Xperia P, Xperia Go and Xperia E dual. It will be rolled out in phases, so update arrival date can vary for different regions and according to Sony it may take uupto month for full worldwide launch.

Along with Android 4.1 and its features like — Google Now, Project butter and lockscreen widgets you will also get Battery STAMINA Mode which will help your battery to last long and there are some tweaks in application tray and revamped home screen also awaits you.

According to Sony update will be available Via Over The Air but Xperia Go users need to get update via PC Companion software. In Addition Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia ion and Xperia acro S will start receiving Jelly Bean by the end of next month.
