Kitkat Share Zooms To 5.3%, Jelly Bean Still Above 60%

Google has released it’s Android Versions share on it’s blog by calculating the Play Store traffic in last 15 days. From the figures it seems that Android Kitkat is covering the market in some good speed now.

Detailing, Kitkat share has doubled to 5.3% in over a month, While Jelly Bean is still at the top of the tree, holding about 60% share on the pie chart. Android 4.4 is largely seen as part of Google’s attempt to minimize fragmentation at least on the OS version level.

Speaking of Gingerbread, Android 2.3 has indeed gone down but only by 1.2 percent.

Now what you think about Kitkat ? Really it’s gonna be the biggest shareholder of any Android version?
