Lenovo is gearing up with two SmartPhones and a camera accessory for CES 2015. The Lenovo VIBE X2 has multi layer design and full metal body following the legacy of VIBE X2. Smartphone P90 runs on a 64 bit Intel Processor and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Lenovo VIBE X2 Pro is a 5.3 inches IPS display device with Full HD resolution. Devices weights 140 grams and is about 6.95 mm thick. Device is powered with 64 bit, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and has internal storage of 32 GB which marks storage as an attractive feature of smartphone. Mobile currently runs on Android 4.4 KitKat but is expected to be upgraded to Lollipop 5.0. Device has dual SIM support and is backed up with battery of 2410 mAh power. Other features of the smartphone include standard Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, EDGE, HSPA+, and LTE. Sensors supported by the phone include gravitation, proximity, and light sensor.
Most attractive feature of this smartphone is its 13 MP Front and Rear Camera. Rear camera is supported with LED flash however front camera comes with support for gesture controls and beautification tools available via an application. Lenovo solved the problem of absence of LED flash light with front camera which created trouble in taking selfies in dark by introducing a new accessory called ‘ The VIBE Xtension Selfie Flash’. This flash accessory of pocket size fits into the headphone jack of the smartphone and casts evenly diffused light over one meter radius. Circle of this accessory contains 8 LED bulbs which are nicely synchronized and coupled with shutter of the camera. Company also claimed that with one charge , they are capable of taking 100 selfies. The device will arrive in market in April 2015 and will cost about $30.00.
LENOVO P20
Lenovo also introduced P20, its first 64-bit, Intel Atom-powered smartphone. Device has 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen and is 8.5mm thick. Smartphone is rectangular in shape and which come in Pearl White, Onyx Black, and Lava Red. Handset is powered by Intel 64-bit 1.8GHz quad-core Atom chip, which is backed by 2GB of RAM. Device includes front camera of 5MP and rear camera of 13MP with flash and optical image stabilization (OIS) .
The P90 also comes with Intel’s 5-mode XMMTM 7262 modem, which allows users to access high-speed LTE-Advanced FDD and TDD in any part of the world that offers faster data connections. Device is powered with 4000 mAh battery.
The Lenovo P90 will be available in February for $369. It is expected to hit markets of China and Europe but will not be available in United States. Lenovo has also announced Ultrabook at CES 2015.
