Microsoft today launched new Xbox music service which will be placed as default ONline Music player for upcoming Windows 8 And Windows 8 Phone. If we compare in realistic world it will be both combination of Spotify and Itunes. It’s available free on any device running Windows RT or Windows 8, as well as on the Xbox itself along with ads for every 15 minutes or so. Ads free version would cost around $9.99 per month. You can even download track from Xbox Music.

It have about 18 million tracks, that includes an artist radio feature to be played on Xbox, Windows Phone, and eventually iOS and Android, in addition to tablets and computers. Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business Marketing and Strategy said:

With Xbox Music, what we wanted to do is bring all of that value in one simple, easy-to-use service, then build some additional value on top — make it really beautiful, and have it work across all of your devices. We’ve been able to simplify the music experience in a really powerful way.

So now are you waiting for Xbox Music on Android? or Windows? Hope that this Microsoft service will not die as Zune.
