And here is yet another one. A Korean Newspaper, reported that Samsung would be using the new generation NAND Flash Storage memory on the upcoming Galaxy S6. UFS 2.0, where UFS stands for Universal Flash Storage.  Interestingly UFS can give you high transfer spa just like the SSD,  and also it is cheap to manufacture. To state the facts this memory is about three times faster than eMMC, and can give you transfer speeds upto 1.2 GB/s.

The memory had been developed under Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC),  which is a initiative by Samsung, Nokia and Mircon.  Also Toshiba and SK Hynix have played a role in the development of the UFS 2.0. And Samsung would be staying the mass production of the memory in the upcoming days. Also Samsung would be replacing the SD and Micro SD card with the UFS technology inside, and the first set of the phones to have this would be the S6 and the Note 5.
