It’s not related to any smartphone or any phablet, directly. It is VR Production Studio by Samsung which is going to be opened shortly in the New York city.
It is going to be situated in the present Samsung office as said by Marc Mathieu, chief marketing officer of Samsung USA. The South Korean vendor made the announcement at the Sundance Film Festival, where it is showcasing the Gear VR headset.
“At Samsung we love stories,” Mathieu said as he addressed a small crowd at Samsung’s pop-up Sundance showcase. “And we love to help people tell stories.” We expect stories and other stuff from the VR production house of Samsung.
Samsung also included in the announcement a new year-long partnership with the Sundance Institute, the organization in charge with arranging the festival.
