Samsung Sold 10 Million Galaxy S4 While HTC One Gains 5 Million Sales

Samsung has officially revealed Galaxy S4 sales figure — company sold 10 million aka 10,000,000 units of its flagship device. Couple of weeks ago it touched 6 Million milestone and at that time Samsung said that it would reach 10 million in a month and now it has happened. Galaxy S4 have become the top of the list for the years highest sellers until now.

It has broken down its predecessor Galaxy S4’s record which gained 10 million sales in 3 months. Well if we go beyond S3 than S II took about 1 year to reach 20 million sales. Its great improvement from the Samsung side in sales in making devices and all things.

JK Shin, CEO and president of the IT and mobile communications division at Samsung Electronics said, “On behalf of Samsung, I would like to thank the millions of customers around the world who have chosen the Samsung Galaxy S4. At Samsung we’ll continue to pursue innovation inspired by and for the people.”

Recently Samsung has launched Aurora Red variant of the Galaxy S4 device which is coming to AT&T soon.

Coming onto HTC One 5 Million Sales

Well these figures are not official, these are revealed by the Wall Street Journal. It says according to unnamed HTC Executive the company had sold “around five million” HTC One devices since the launch around a month and a half ago.

Here are official wording of the Unnamed HTC executive: “Orders are pretty good so far and are still more than what we can supply. This is partly due to the shortage of components. When the issue is resolved next month, we will have a better idea if it’s doing really well or not.”

Well if this is true then its a much impressive sales despite some delays due to equipments shortages. Well don’t worry if you’r device is delayed as now HTC has started shipping the devices again along with $25 Credit Play Store Coupon as an apology for delay.
