WordPress 5.4 Beta for Android Introduces Visual Editor

Guys over the WordPress have developed a WordPress 5.4 Beta Android App. The new version of the app is packed with much needed features in the app i.e a Visual Editor.

The existing app has already semi working Visual Editor but a full fledged Visual Editor was missing. The latest editor will not only bring the tools like bolding, underlining, styling, etc options but it will also show the written text in Visual in the editor. Earlier, while editing or drafting a post the text area showed all the html markup of the post. Like, we were able to see the html markings from the above mentioned features. Here’s the actual changelog:

5.4-rc-1:

  • New visual editor.
  • You can now update your Gravatar by tapping your profile picture on the Me screen.
  • Enabling Smart Lock for Password, to pre-fill username and password fields on the Sign In screen.
  • Minor fixes in the Reader.

Now to remove that code clutter, WordPress has introduced fully fledged clean and visual interface.

Additionally, WordPress has received v4.5.1 update with some beautiful changes.
