Xiaomi Launched its Mi VR Play (Virtual Reality Headset)

Xiaomi today announced its first Virtual Reality Headset Mi VR Play. It is compatible with smartphones having their display ranging between 4.7″ to 5.7″, it will support all platforms. Xiaomi also giving an introductory offer for the Beta program for users in China only i.e. you can get Mi VR Play for just RMB 1. But it is not available for normal people yet.

The Headset is has a zipper design so that the phone doesn’t fall out when moving the headset, uses Lycra fabric (nylon + spandex) and EVA that is lightweight, skin-friendly and doesn’t cause discomfort when using it for longer period. Moreover, It is packed with anti-glare aspherical lenses with a tolerance of just 0.01mm and it also promises the best clarity.  There is a metal button on the top which are used to interact with the phone. It measures 201 x 107 x 91mm and weighs 208.7 grams.

Xiaomi Mi VR Play is several options with personalized colors, including graffiti and decorative design. Although the official pricing is not out yet, but according to the reliable source which leaked the Mi VR Play information, the pricing is expected to be around $99 which comes to around Rs 6700 approximately.
