Xiaomi Revenue Increases 2x in 2014; Earns $12 Billion

Xiaomi is doing great in India, its native country China and worldwide also. The great work by Xiaomi can been seen through its financial report of 2014 by which Xiaomi earned $12 Billion and it is 2x rise in revenue then the last year.

As per the reports from Reuters, the Chinese company raked in a massive 74.3 billion yuan (about $12 billion) in 2014. Last year Xiaomi sold 61 Million smartphones throughout the World.

Xiaomi sold 18.7 million devices in 2013, and 7.2 million in 2012, so the four-year-old company is continuing to grow its business at a rapid rate — its recent funding round valued it at $45 billion and it is now the world’s third largest smartphone maker.

Lei Jun, Chief executive of Xiaomi said, “We are a company that the technology industry has never seen before, From now onwards, every step we take is writing a new chapter in the history of the industry”.
