You Tube For Android has received update which allows YouTube App to directly send videos to Google TV. You tube officialism blog says that:

So guys along with sending option you can control playback using the Android interface. Now the functionality has been rolled into the main YouTube app as part of its latest update.
You can also search for another video or browse the Web on your gadget while the video continues to play uninterrupted on the TV set.
Youtube ended up saying:
