ZTE Announces Voice Powered Star 2

ZTE recently announced a new smartphone , named as the Star 2. And the fact is the device is not the device which we have been hearing about, in the certified sale reports by TENAA. The device as the name suggests, is the successor to the Star 1, and in the design pretty much resembles it.

But the main feature of the device is the Voice Control Support. It is not the ordinary voice control system, that many devices offer. but this is one is different and quite impressive. You can perform many complex tasks from the Voice Control itself, like Opening, Exiting, Snapping Pictures, play music tracks, switching between apps, and a long list of functions. Also the gestures are awesome too. Like for instance if you raise this device to your ear, it would ask you “Who do you want to call?”.

And luckily the Voice Control works even when the device is not connected to the internet, unlike Siri and Google Now, and all other Voice Assistants. And also the response time of the Voice Commands is about 1.2 seconds, with a 90% success rate. it has a display of about 5 inches with a 1080p resolution. A 13 Megapixel rear camera, and a 5 Megapixel front camera.  it is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.3 GHz quad-core CPU along side 2 gigs of RAM, and also 16 GB of internal storage.

It has a 2300 mAh battery, and runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It is priced at about CNY 2,499, which is about $402 or €327.
