A revamped Google Assistant Feed is on the way

Google Assistant made its debut with the original Pixel and since then it has improved a lot. Google has been continuously changing its look over the years to keep up with the latest version of Android. Currently, Google is testing a revamped Google Assistant Feed which will make its way to every user soon.

As you can see from the above screenshots posted by a user on Twitter, the Google Assistant has been completely revamped for him. It looks nowhere similar to the current version which is available for everyone. Seems like Google is testing this new UI via server-side for a certain number of users.

From the pictures, we can say that the top of the feed will display greeting along with the users’s profile picture on the right side as usual but in a smaller size. Below that, the cards will be arranged in a date-wise manner and the important relevant items are displayed at first. Here, in this case, the weather card is up top under Today which can be expanded by tapping on the chevron to reveal hourly forecast. Followed by that, we will get to see other items relevant to the user by date or week wise. These items may include reminders, events, deliveries, commute, and other basic Google Assistant things.

As mentioned earlier, the revamped Google Assistant is limited to certain users via server-side. It will eventually come to all devices when Google finalizes its testing.
