Airtel revised their Rs.399 plan with validity of 84 days, to Compete with Jio

Since the entry of Jio, the data plans have become cheaper in India. Even all the telecom operators now offer free voice callings with almost every plans. Airtel is the only operator whose subscriber base did not decline as much as others due to Jio. And now, they have revised their most popular Rs.399 plan with validity of 84 days to compete against Jio’s new plan.

Previously, Airtel’s Rs.399 plan offered 1 GB 3G /4G data per day, daiy 100 SMS and free unlimited local, STD and roaming  voice calls. The validity for this pack was 70 days which was only recently increased from 28 days earlier this month. But now, to compete against Jio’s new Rs.399 plan,Airtel has further increased the validity from 70 days to 84.

However, Jio’s Rs.399 plan is still better though it comes with the same validity of 84 days. It is packed with 1GB of 4G data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Moreover, It also includes subscription for Jio’s suite of apps comes free with the plan.

Moving on, Airtel also revised their Rs.149 plan with free unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. Earlier, this plan only provided free calls across Airtel network only. But, this plan is limited to some regions only and they are Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
