Exploding Hoverboards tolls increasing day by day addressing this issue U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Chairman Elliot F. Kaye issued a statement that Amazon will refund hoverboards. Although they are still investigating a number of companies for this issue but in meantime U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued this statement.
For claiming refund Kaye said go to the contact page “For consumers who purchased a hoverboard from Amazon, they can return the product right now for a full refund,” Commission Chairman Elliot Kaye writes in the statement. “I want to commend Amazon for voluntarily stepping up, providing a free remedy and putting customer safety first.”
Amazon itself has not yet released an official statement on this matter. Although Amazon removed a number of hoverboard brands, including the popular Swagway at one point. Moreover they issued warnings to customers to dispose of certain brands and devices with non-compliant plugs.
