Android 10 stable update is now rolling out for Redmi Note 7 ( OTA download file included)

To recall, Redmi Note 7 was launched back in 2019 with Android 9 (Pie). Finally, after a year, Xiaomi has finally started spinning out the latest Android 10 version for Redmi Note 7 users. The new update brings Android 10 looks and completely minimized features of it (as the device uses MIUI skin). Presently, the update is rolling out only in China. However, it will be released globally in a few days.

The new update comes in V11.0.2.0.QFGCNXM Software version. Moreover, the build number suggests that the update is based on MIUI 11 only. However, MIUI 12 is expected to hit all the devices in the second phase of the update rollout. In terms of features, the company has not mentioned the new features of this update in the changelog. As the device uses MIUI skin, we can’t guess the basic features also.

As of now, the update is rolling out in batches. So, it may take some time to reach your device. To check the update manually, navigate to settings>Software updates and check for updates. In case, if you want to install the update using the OTA file, then follow the link below.
