As promised by Google, Android 6.0.1 is here with new Emojis. Google has started rollout of the Android 6.0.1 to Android One devices in India.
Micromax A1 users in India are receiving the update with new Emoji and few other changes. Yesterday, Google has updated Nexus devices images of Android 6.0.1.
Hiroshi Lockheimer, Senior VP of Android, Chrome OS, and Chromecast at Google has already tweeted about the update and Emojis. Yesterday, Whatsapp also released updated version of the app with new Emojis on board.
Coming onto the New emojis which are Unicode 7 and Unicode 8 based. There are around 200 new and revamped emoji based on Unicode 8 launched with this build of Android Marshmallow.
You guys might be in confusion that if emojis are present in the Keyboard than why we need to update our devices? Ok, let me clear you can update Google Keyboard app but fonts are tied to the system itself, hence the need for a full update.

On the other side, Update has brought some security updates for December month.
Further, Google has stated that, “Partners were notified about and provided updates for these issues on November 2, 2015 or earlier. Source code patches for these issues will be released to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) repository over the next 48 hours.”
