Android 6.0 Marshmallow is Rolling Out on Oppo R9, R9 Plus and F1s

Oppo is rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its R9, R9 Plus and F1s phones. The update is currently rolling out in Australia right now.

“An extra benefit to upgrading to the latest version of the ColorOS is that it will allow the OPPO R9 Plus and R9 to have a dual-sim function with 4G+3G compatibility,” the Chinese company says on its Australian website.

The update comes with all the basic goodies of Android marshmallow. Like Doze for better battery life, Google Now on Tap for instant access to useful information anywhere, and the easier to use app permissions system.

To update your devices you have to download it Update files form going through the source link below. After that you have to move the update file to SD card’s root directory. Then you shoould go to the file and tap on it and after that upgrade now. Than your device will get rebooted and the installation of new firmware starts. The process will take 4-5 Mins.

However, company did not give any official info regarding when the update will reach other markets. But we think that it will be rolled out very soon in other markets of the world.
