After the Sony X Performance and XZ, now another set of device have started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat. Sony Xperia X and X Compact are the devices which have been started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat.
Sony outed the list of the device to get the Nougat in the month of August. Now, they are rolling the update to the mentioned devices.
Sony took to Twitter to announce the update. Later, more information was extracted via Xperia blog which mentioned that devices Xperia X (F5121), Xperia X Dual (F5122), and Xperia X Compact (F5321) is marked to get the build number 34.2.A.0.266 as an update.
Even it is confirmed that along with the new version of the Andorid. Update is also carrying December 2016 security patch. The update weighs around 1.2 GB, so switch to WiFi before starting the update.
Also, you can manually check for the update if you didn’t received until now. The update will rollout region wise and it may take time to appear in your region. So, wait if you didn’t receive the update.
