Android Distribution Updated For June 2017: Nougat Reaches 9.5%

New month just started, which means that it’s time for some updated Android platform distribution numbers. Google today released its latest Android distribution numbers. The numbers revealed that Android Nougat now reached 9.5%. The most used Android operating system is Android Marshmallow with 31.2% share and Gingerbread is the least used Android OS.

Android Gingerbread, Jelly Bean and KitKat also saw minor drops.

Marshmallow 6.0 is presently the most used Android version with 31.2 percent share. Lollipop 5.0 and 5.1, both combined, grab 30.8 percent distribution share this month. KitKat still possess 18.1% share and Jelly Bean follows at 8.8 percent.

Yesterday only, Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook mocked Android fragmentation in WWDC 2017 and today Google released updated distribution numbers.
