Asus announced its Zenfone Live L1 Android Go Phone for the Indonesian Market

It looks like Asus is very conscious these days about the cellphone market. They have just introduced a new device in the budget category known as the Asus Zenfone Live L1. Recently we have seen a mid-segment flagship Zenfone Max Pro M1 handset and now its time for the budget offering. Unlike the Zenfone Max Pro M1, its specifications are not mouthwatering but is the first Android Go device from the house of Asus. Earlier some rumors were there about an Android Go device from Asus under development and finally, it is official now. Zenfone Live L1 is an entry-level device and comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425(64 bit) Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz coupled with optional 1GB/2GB of RAM. The device offers 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to massive 2TB’s via micro-SD card. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Android Go edition.

Luckily we are getting a 5.5(inch) HD+ IPS Display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and it is an 18:9 ratio panel. In the Camera department, it features a single 13MP rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash while in the front a 5MP shooter for selfies is there. The device lacks in Fingerprint Scanner department but it does have a Face Recognition unlock. The device gets juice from a 3300mAh battery which is enough considering its specs. It supports 4G VoLte and is a Dual-SIM smartphone. The price of the device is not yet disclosed but we are expecting Asus to launch this handset in India as well.
