Asus rolls out June security patch with some bug fixes to the ZenFone Live

The Asus ZenFone Live is a entry level Android phone from Asus which was launched in February. This particular smartphone with model number (ZB501KL) is luckily receiving some software service from Asus. The update is not something to brag about though as it is just a security update.

The update is actually a June Security Patch as that will be visible as version 13.1407.1705.21 when it is downloadable. Of course, it will be an OTA update. As regular security patches go this update will address pending security issues. Some minor bug fixes are also included. This patch fixes low light camera mode issues as well as some bugs with the Russian language.

We advise users to charge the device well to avoid any issues during the update process. Also, catch a Wi-Fi that is reliable to get the update rolling fast. Since this is a security patch, it shouldn’t take much long.

If you do want to check out the update manually go to Settings > About > System Update.
