Asus ZenFone 5Z, the latest pocket-friendly flagship from Asus is one among the few which gets frequent updates. The Taiwanese firm, ever since its release, has been pushing multiple updates each month for the device. This month as well, it had received a couple of upgrades so far, and one more now to finish-off this month. Albeit not a significant update, the latest software update brings certain vital fixes and features.
The OTA package bearing version V184.108.40.206 is taking a gradual round and is of few MB’s in size. It’s good to see that Asus has been providing a near to ideal software support for its latest and beautiful, Snapdragon 845 powered device. The changelog of the update may not be long, however it is worth a look.

As you can see from the changelog, the front-cam of ZenFone 5Z now supports a new mode, i.e panaroma mode. Note that, the rear-cam of the device at deafault has the support for shooting panorama stills. And, with the update, it’s being extended to the selfie camera as well. The selfie panorama ought to be useful for taking wide selfies, especially the “Groupies”, “Wefies” or whatever you may call it.
Another improvement depicted by the changelog is the addition of battery percentage adjustment. Asus has also tucked in some fixes for the existing issues, such as the glitch in face unlock.
