Asus Zenfone AR (8GB RAM) and ZenFone 3 Zoom Reveals

Asus has launched it’s new flagship device which is powered with Snapdragon 821 and is loaded with huge 8GB of RAM. The other Zenfone 3 Zoom is mid tier device with Snapdragon 625 processor. The ZenFone AR will deliver the first Snapdragon 821-powered augmented and virtual reality experience.

 

Talking in detail about the Zenfone AR, it is packed with a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED touchscreen, and it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 chipset aided by a whopping 8GB of RAM – a world first.There’s a great shooter of a 23 MP from Sony on the rear with OIS, EIS, and 4K video recording. There’s also a extra Tango sensors of a motion tracking camera and depth-sensing camera. The company has opted for a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture and an 85-degree wide angle lens.

The Asus ZenFone AR sports a fingerprint scanner at the front embedded in the home button. The Android 7.0 Nougat-based Asus ZenFone AR will be available in the Q2 2017. The pricing of the Asus Zenfone AR is not revealed yet.

Asus has you covered with flavors in 32/64/128 or 256GB of UFS 2.0 storage plus a MicroSD slot. Rounding out the spec sheet is a 3300mAh battery, 8MP front camera, quick charging, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

 

asus zenfone 3 zoomNow coming onto the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom, it has taken name from its predecessors. It is named as “thinnest and lightest” smartphone featuring a 5000mAh battery. It is embedded with a 5.5″ FHD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, and a pair of 12 megapixel sensors, one with a 25mm wide-angle lens and the other with a 56mm lens to produce 2.3X optical zoom.  As like of the ZenFone AR, it features a TriTech+ autofocus system, dual-PDAF, 4-axis OIS, and 3-axis EIS.

It will become available in February disappointingly running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and we assume Asus will share details on its other specs until then.
