AT&T has announced that 12 new markets in which it will deploy its 4G LTE network during the coming months. No specific launch dates have been given just yet, but AT&T says that the launches are set to begin in April and extend into May and “the early summer.” Here’s the list of markets that’ll soon be gaining AT&T LTE:
- Naples, Fla.
- Bloomington, Lafayette and Muncie, Ind.
- Baton Rouge and New Orleans, La.
- St. Louis, Mo.
- Staten Island in New York City
- Akron, Canton and Cleveland, Ohio
- Bryan-College Station, Texas
”AT&T customers in St. Louis can look forward to even faster mobile Internet speeds very soon, on our leading lineup of smartphones and devices,” said Nancy Garvey, AT&T’s vice president and general manager for the Greater Midwest Region. “We’re excited to bring St. Louis all that 4G LTE has to offer. Our teams will be working hard across the city toward our upcoming launch.”
