AT&T starts rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update on Galaxy J3 (2016)

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) starts getting Android 7.1.1 Nougat update on AT&T network. The phone was earlier launched with Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. Today’s update comes with the build number “NMF26X.J320AUCU3BQI5” and the update is around 1GB in size.

The update packs with Android security patch for the month of August. However, the main highlight of the update is Android 7.1.1 NOugat. It packs with improved notifications experience, enhanced Doze mode, multi-window support, instant apps, better notifications, quick settings, notification dots and so on. The update is currently rolling out over the air and if you’re on AT&T network you will get the Android 7.1.1 update very soon.

Recently, Samsung has skipped the september security patch because of Blueborne vulnerability. Now samsung is starts rolling out October security patch to its devices. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) and A5 (2017) are the first one to get the latest security patch.
