There was a time when Blackberry devices were on the list of super expensive and premium devices. Now we are in 2018 and the time has changed especially a lot for this brand. Blackberry is a brand that was known for its QWERTY keypad devices. Later Blackberry tried its luck in the Android market but due to inappropriate pricing, none of their devices received attention from the consumers. Now some fresh information is coming about an old device from their house known as the Blackberry Priv. According to the source, the device is receiving a new update, so let’s know more about it.

Blackberry has first introduced its Priv device back in 2015. The biggest merit of this device was Android operating system and a sliding display. Which further reveals the traditional QWERTY keypad. As per some sources, the device is getting a new update and don’t expect too much as it is not an Android P update. This update aims to bring fixes for various existing vulnerabilities. Other than this nothing has been changed with this software update, the security patch is exactly the same and the Android version too.

As per the reports Blackberry Priv is getting this new update and probably many of you have already received it. After installing this new update the firmware version changes to AAW068. Let me give you a quick recall about the device’s specs, Priv comes with a 5.4(inch) Curved Screen with Quad-HD resolution. In the rear, there is an 18MP snapper with the support of 4K recording whereas in the front a 2MP shooter is present. One of the biggest strength of this handset was its physical keyboard and a software-based keyboard as well. Nothing much has been revealed about the update, for further information stay tuned to us.
