Samsung Galaxy Note 7 vs OnePlus 3

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has just Launched now with all new features like Gorilla Glass 5. Now here we are comparing the New Galaxy Note 7 with the Oneplus 3 which was launched a month ago. Both the devices are the Flagship devices from their respective companies.

Design and Display:

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 clearly has an edge over the oneplus 3 because it is a water resistant, Although Oneplus 3 has all metal body but still Galaxy Note 7 wins the race here.Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Dimensions are 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9mm and it weighs 169g where as Oneplus 3 Dimensions are 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.35 mm and its weigh is 158g. Galaxy Note 7  features a 5.7” Quad HD Dual edge Super AMOLED with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 518ppi, It is also packed with the latest Gorilla Glass 5 and Galaxy Note 7 is the first smartphone to have it. On the other hand Oneplus 3 features a 5.5 inches AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080(~428 ppi) and it is packed with Gorilla Glass 4.

Hardware and Software:

In this section both Galaxy Note 7 and Oneplus 3 are having same Snapdragon 820 on board, Both the device also has a same GPU Adreno 530. Galaxy Note 7 come in only one variant which has 64 GB of internal storage which can be expandable upto 256 GB. Where as Oneplus 3 comes with two storage variants 32/64 GB which can be expandable upto 256 GB, Although both the phones are having same 4GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is packed with the Sensors like Barometer, Fingerprint Sensor,  Iris Sensor, RGB Light Sensor. On the other hand Oneplus 3 is not have these sensors except Fingerprint sensor. Moreover, Galaxy Note 7 also has “S-pen ” which can be used to work more freely on its large screen. Both the phones runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and will be upgraded to Android 7.0 Naugat whenever it get released. So here again the winner is Note 7.

Camera:

Galaxy Note 7 is packed with Dual Pixel 12MP OIS (F1.7) where as oneplus 3 has 16 MP of primary camera. Note 7 can capture video of 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps, 720p@240fps, HDR, dual-video rec. It also has 5 MP (F 1.7) of Front camera. Oneplus 3 can capture video of 2160p@30fps, 720p@120fps, Auto HDR and it has 8 MP, f/2.0, 1/3.2″ sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel front camera. So it shows both the cameras units of the Note 7 and Oneplus 3 are neck to neck and note 7 camera is marginally better than Oneplus.

Battery:

Galaxy Note 7 is powered with 3500 mAh Li-Poly (Lithium Polymer) battery. On the other hand Oneplus 3 is powered with 3000 mAh Li-Ion (Lithium Ion) which can run your phone for almost 1.5 days normal use company claims this.

Price & Verdict:

In the price section Oneplus 3 is the clear winner. Because although galaxy note 7 has a performed better than Oneplus 3 but there is a huge price diffrence between there prices when we compared. So if you want just an Android Phone with latest verion of Android and performe as fast as any of the flagship devices in the market than Oneplus 3 is the best choice. If you want to have an Android with the latest new features and want to use features like S-Pen then Galaxy Note 7 is good for you.
