CyanogenMod 7.2 release candidate 1 supporting 69 devices

The Cyanogenmod team has Cyanogen Mod 7.2 Release Candidate 1 available for download to 69 supported devices. A release candidate isn’t the “official” release but it’s stable enough to run on the 69 phones they’ve outlined here.

If you are new to this, a Release Candidate is a ROM version that is considered mostly ready for use. There will be a few bugs and issues here and there, but the ROM is at its final stages and should be stable enough to use as a daily driver. These include a few which have back-ported from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Others, such as the T9 predictive phone dialer, are found in manufacturer ROMs but not stock Android. The complete change log is here.Head over to CyanogenMod’s site to see the list of supported devices. If you are still ready to enjoy CM 7.2 RC1, head over to their mirror network to download the files. Happy flashing!
