Dolphin Browser HD today recieves an update to v8.0 with new and improved User Interface. Sticking with the gesture concept, the folks at Dolphin have redesigned the method of non-text input. The new Dolphin button in the lower left corner replaces the old gesture button and now gives users the ability to choose the Gesture interface or the Sonar voice search interface. Behind the scenes stability and performance have been improved. Other features include full tabbed browsing support and a ‘speed dial’ screen for favourites similar to the one on Opera. Lastly there’s support for modular plugins, similar to Mozilla’s Firefox equivalent.
