Finally, ChromeOS Getting Android Apps With Play Store

Curtains have been raised, finally, ChromeOS is getting Android Apps Support and they can install the apps using the Play Store. chromeos

The session notes suggest that apps may need to be tweaked in order to properly run on Chrome OS. But the implication is that most if not all apps will be capable of running whenever this change rolls out. There are no details on when the Play Store will arrive just yet, but it sounds like we could learn more tomorrow.

Google Quoted, “Today we announced that we’re adding the best mobile app experiences in the world, Android apps and the Google Play store, to the best browser in the world, Chrome! Come to this session and test your Android apps for Chrome OS. You will get hands on help from our friendly engineers on how to optimize your Android app for Chromebooks.”

So we can say it is coming soon to our Chromebooks.
