Smartphone manufacturers don’t take long in rolling out updates when it comes to their flagship smartphones and Motorola is no different. Two of Motorola’s flagship devices, the Moto Z Droid and the Moto Z Force Droid are now receiving their latest security patches. Interestingly, this is also the first software update that the devices are getting since they went on sale last month.

The OTA update, which weighs in at 436 MB and takes about 20 minutes to install (Motorola says so) brings “enhancements, improvements and the latest Android security updates” to your Z Droid and Z Force Droid devices.

Interestingly, the update brings July security patch to your device when the August security patch has been out for quite some time now and the September patch should be out in some days too. Nevertheless, the update takes the build number of your device to MCL24.246-36.
