Today, we came to know about ‘Freeform’ which is a Windows like User Interface that Android N holds in it while reading the documentation. Android N has already many advanced features which will surely help users to do tasks more easily and effectively. THis new features will also help users to easily get stuff working.

Google’s own Android N documentation reads:

Manufacturers of larger devices can choose to enable freeform mode, in which the user can freely resize each activity. If the manufacturer enables this feature, the device offers freeform mode in addition to split-screen mode.
It is going to be pretty useful as it will help tablet users to perform functions as like of Windows based laptop. It is great feature of doing multitasking. The Android N developer documentation instructs developers on how to support both split-screen and freeform, which are both referred to as multi-window modes.
