Samsung has just started rolling out the June security patch update for a few devices including Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy M31. As you may know, the latest security patch updates are quite important to keep your device protected against several vulnerabilities. Let’s peek into the details of this June security update.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8

June security patch update comes with firmware version N950FXXSBDTED/N950FOXMBDTE1/N950FXXSBDTE1 and brings improved and enhanced security for your device. This update weighs 577.81MB in size.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

Samsung’s flagship flip phone is also getting the June security update that addresses security loopholes and bug fixes. It also improves the performance of your device to a certain extent.  This update comes with firmware version F700FXXS1ATE3/F700FOXM1ATDB/F700FXXU1ATDC and is 480.78MB in size.

Samsung Galaxy M31

Samsung’s lower-midrange device Galaxy M31 also receives a June security patch update that protects your device from possible security threats and also improves stability.

The OTA update will roll out in phases and if you did not receive it already, you must be in line to get it shortly. In order to check the update manually, you can go to Settings > Software update. Before you start downloading the update, make sure your device holds enough juice and it is advisable to switch to a WiFi network if you’re on a limited data plan to avoid carrier data charges.

Samsung Galaxy A30s is also getting the June security update along with the above-listed devices. If your Galaxy device is eligible for the security update and not included in the list, don’t be disappointed as a slew of Galaxy smartphones will be getting the June 2020 security patch in the upcoming days.
