Gboard soon getting OCR Tool, Battery Saver Mode and more

Google has its own popular keyboard app available for ages, it is known as the Gboard. Google is very generous towards the Gboard app as it receives frequent updates from the firm. A few days back Gboard has received the functionality of custom GIF’s and an updated sticker gallery. A new Beta version 7.3 of the Gboard app has disclosed that a bunch of new features are on the way and will soon be released for the regular app. As suggested by the decoded facts Google will be bringing a new feature termed as the Battery Saver mode. This feature will trigger the black and white mode which further will switch off some battery sucking features. As per reports, this battery saver mode can be turned on/off manually.

Google reportedly is working on a new feature called OCR Tool. This feature will appear next to GIF, Google Translate, and Sticker. It will work similar to Google Lens as with this a user will be able to grab text from an image. As per revelations Gboard will be coming with a storage warning function as well which will notify you whenever you will be running out of storage. Google has earlier rolled out the sticker gallery which contains over 500+ stickers and now they might be bringing the favorites option for making your work easier to select the best ones.
