Gionee F205 and S11 Lite budget devices launched in India

Gionee has launched their new entry-level smartphones to the most lucrative and highly competitive Indian market. The Gionee F205 and S11 Lite are the new entrants with the price tag of Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 13,999 attached to them respectively. Both the phones can be purchased online as well as on select offline retailers.

As the pricing itself indicates, both the devices are different and have got different things to offer. However, they does have some features in common. Such as, the handsets flaunt FullView Displays with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio. And, a customized OS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat is pre-installed on both of the devices.

Among the devices, the S11 Lite is the high-end and hence let’s see what all things does the device bring to the table.

Gionee S11 Lite

The dual-SIM device runs the Android 7.1.1-based Amigo OS 5.0.13S on-board. It boasts a 5.7-inch HD+ display with the 18:9 aspect ratio. A 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC powers the device and a 4GB of RAM facilitates multitasking with much ease.

Coming to the camera department. The Gionee S11 Lite packs a dual rear camera setup with 13+2MP lens combo. At the front sits a 16MP selfie shooter capable of  creating software driven bokeh effect known as “Bokeh Mode”. For storage, it boards a 32GB of internal storage than can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

Connectivity options imclude 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi and GPS and a 3.5mm. Last but not least, a decent 3030mAh battery keeps the light on of the device.

Gionee F205

Flaunting a 5.45-inch FullView of 18:9 aspect ratio, the Gionee F205 will compete its alike such as the Xiaomi Redmi 5A. At its heart lies a quad-core MediaTek processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. If needed, the internals can be expanded up to 256GB via mocroSD.

Additionally, the F205 packs a lone 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. For connectivity, it comprises 4G VoLTE, support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi and GPS. With this small price tag of Rs. 8999, the device does offer essential sensors such as ambient light sensor, digital compass, gravity sensor, and proximity sensor. However, you won’t get a fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone is fueled by a 2670mAh battery and runs Android 7.1 Nougat skinned by AmigoOS.
