Gionee is rolling out an update to its P7 with ViLTE support, which can be used for video calls over LTE. The update also have some other new features like Urdu language support, Easier access to your favourite apps, etc.
Some people got confused over ViLTE and VoLTE. ViLTE is Video over LTE which you can make video calls whereas VoLTE is Voice over LTE. The update also includes the latest Android Security Patch, Gionee did not mention about the month.
As the update is currently rolling out. It will soon reach you and if you did not get the update notification yet. You can check it manually by going through the settings>>about phone>>software update.
We recommends you that do charge your device at least up to 50% before start installing update.
