Google Acquires Green Throttle Games For Something New

Google has acquired a Green Throttle Games which is a gaming startup that developed a unique Bluetooth gaming controller for Android. Green Throttle was founded by Guitar Hero creator Charles Huang and Matt Crowley and Karl Townsend, two longtime Palm employees, who worked on the legendary Palm Pilot.

Now if we compile data from sources than it seems that Google has assigned the Green Throttle games in new Google TV Development Team under the Nexus brand. We can hint about what Google is cooking from the above little information. Well we are waiting for the Google to launch its own set top box, similar to the Apple TV or the Android-based games console Ouya.

According to News Agencies: The Wall Street Journal reported in the past that Google was preparing a device that would put Android at the center of users’ living room’s, while according to The Information’s Amir Efrati (formerly with WSJ), Google would launch this console/set-top-box in the first part of the year under the Nexus brand.
