As annocuned last week, just in between the announcements of MWC 2017. Google made Assistant available for non Nexus and Pixel devices. Now, it has been rolling to many non nexus and pixel devices.
The latest one to receive is the OnePlus 3, the new Google Assistant is live with information rich features. It is the beginning for the rollout as it will be rolled out to different devices in different countries.
It will come packed with the update to Google Play Services.  It does not require a lengthy testing period for carriers and phone manufacturers.
It is expected that Google is rolling out the Assistant to 500 Million Android devices which are compatible. There’s no actual date fggiven by Google when the update will hit, but it is rolling out. Hope you guys will get it soon!!
We expect much more than Google Now from Assistant.
